Shrine Hill Park
Just down the hill from Patrick Henry High School, Shrine Hill Park includes a portion of the Murray Run Greenway and three ADA accessible tennis courts with pickleball lines*.
*Beginning September 15, 2026, quiet pickleballs will be required for pickleball players at Shrine Hill Park. More info.
Murray Run Greenway
The Murray Greenway is currently the only non-paved designated greenway in the City of Roanoke. This greenway currently connects Grandin Road near Patrick Henry High School to McNeil Drive near Virginia Western Community College, running through Shrine Hill Park, Woodlawn Natural Reserve and Fishburn Park.
