PLAY-Palooza Summer Celebration

You’re invited to join PLAY Roanoke for our PLAY-Palooza summer celebration! This year, PLAY-Palooza will kickoff the summer season and opening day for Fallon Park Pool.

Join us on May 30 from 10 AM – 2 PM for free festivities including DJ Flex and his Party Truck, a photo booth, 9 Hole Mini Golf, and free art kits from Chaos Corner for the first 200 attendees.

Food and beverage will be available for purchase from Empanada Nirvana, Garcias Bistro, and Charlee Tropical Italian Ice and Drinks.

The best part? FREE entry to Fallon Park Pool (details below)! We look forward to celebrating summer with the community for this free, family-friendly event!

Free Pool Entry Details:
Wrist bands will be issued for 2 hours of access to Fallon Park Pool on May 30.
Choose from either:
10 AM – 12 PM or
12 PM – 2 PM
Wrist bands are only good for hours listed. Plan accordingly!

FAQs

Can children be dropped off? NO. PLAY‑Palooza does not allow drop‑offs. Anyone under 18 must stay with a supervising adult.

What is the policy for lightning/thunder? If thunder or lightning is detected, the pool will close and a 30 minute wait will begin. Swimming can resume after 30 minutes with no thunder or lightning.

Other: Chairs are available on a first‑come, first‑served basis, but you’re welcome to bring your own.
