Summer Camps in Roanoke
Roanoke Parks and Recreation hosts all-day and half-day summer camps between June and August each year. The dates vary based on the Roanoke City Schools calendar.
Outdoor Adventure Camps
During these week-long camps, your child will explore the outdoors through hands-on nature activities and enjoy the excitement of outdoor recreation! Your child’s week will be split between nature education activities, such as wilderness survival classes, orienteering and GPS skills; and outdoor recreation. We’ll hike, explore caves, kayak, canoe or stand up paddleboard and rock climb indoors. Registration information for 2018 outdoor adventure summer camps is now live.
