Free Field Day – Eureka Park

Join PLAY Roanoke for Field Days this summer! We’re hosting multiple fun, safe, and engaging recreational opportunities for youth across all quadrants of the city during the summer. This initiative promotes physical activity, community engagement, and positive youth development through structured games, friendly competition, and family-friendly activities. Enjoy inflatables from D&G Wonderland, sweet treats, food, and activities!

June 22 – Eureka Park
June 29 – Belmont Park
July 6 – Preston Park
July 13 – Highland Park

Field Day activities will include both structures and free-play opportunities, including:

• Sack Races
• Relay Races
• Basketball Activities/Games
• Tug-of-War
• Flip Frenzy
• Jump Rope Contests
• Capture the Flag
• Pass, Punt, and Kick Challenge
• Additional recreational and team-building activities

• Open to elementary and middle school-aged youth
• Local youth development summer camps are encouraged to participate
• Families and community members are welcome to attend and support
