The Garden City Greenway follows Garnand Branch Creek and and runs adjacent to Garden City Boulevard from the Roanoke River Greenway near Mount Pleasant Road to Yellow Mountain Road. The entire Garden City Greenway trail is 2.03 miles in length and provides pedestrian and bicycle accommodations where there were none. The section from the Roanoke River intersection to Garden City Recreation Center is a paved surface, while the connection to the Blue Ridge Parkway trails behind the Garden City Recreation Center is a natural surface trail.
Trailhead
At this time, the only trailhead that exists for Garden City Greenway is located at the Garden City Recreation Center.
