Garden City Recreation Center and Park
Garden City Recreation Center is located just down the road from Garden City Park. The park space features a playground, basketball court, and access to Blue Ridge Parkway trails. Note: The recreation center is not open to the public or available for rental.
Getting To Garden City:
From Downtown Roanoke:
Follow Jefferson toward Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Turn left onto Walnut Avenue. Go across Walnut Bridge and take first left onto Piedmont Street. Take the first right onto Rte 116. Follow Rte 116 to Garden City Blvd. Turn right onto Garden City Blvd. Follow until road ends at Yellow Mountain Road. Garden City Recreation Center will be directly in front of you, it’s driveway is on left of the building. The entrance to the building is in the front facing Yellow Mountain Road.
