Your City Parks By Bike
The City of Roanoke is flush with outdoor amenities–we manage over 70 parks, plazas, and greenways, 14,000 acres of land, and nearly 100 miles of trail! Exploring all of these seems nearly impossible. However, we’ve put together seven park-by-bike tours that allow you to see the vast majority of City parks! We scouted the best streets to use (i.e. they have dedicated bike lanes or are not as popular with cars) for when the greenways are closed or are a little too busy. The results are wonderful eight-to 11-mile rides that allow you to visit your parks while exploring your city. Enjoy!
