Wasena Park
Wasena Park is a large green space that features a long stretch of the Roanoke River Greenway, a playground, two picnic shelters, the Roanoke Skate Park, baseball diamond and a basketball court.

Roanoke River Greenway
The Roanoke River Greenway is the main artery of the Roanoke Valley Greenway System, offering nearly ten miles of paved trail within the City of Roanoke. The greenway follows its namesake river from west to east through the valley, passing through Vic Thomas Park, Wasena Park, Smith Park, River’s Edge Park, and Piedmont Park.
