Liz Belcher Plaza
Liz Belcher Plaza offers access to the Roanoke River Greenway near the border with the City of Salem. Amenities include a bench, sculpture, and bike fix station. The plaza is located between the Barrows, Inc. mural and the pedestrian bridge crossing Barnhardt Creek.
Roanoke River Greenway
The Roanoke River Greenway is the main artery of the Roanoke Valley Greenway System, offering nearly ten miles of paved trail within the City of Roanoke. The greenway follows its namesake river from west to east through the valley, passing through Liz Belcher Plaza, Vic Thomas Park, Wasena Park, Smith Park, River’s Edge Park, and Piedmont Park.
