Poems & Coffee: School Supplies Drive + Porchfest

Our August 6th event theme is “Pens, Poems and Pencils,” where we will be collecting backpacks and school supplies for one of the Roanoke City Schools. Please bring school supplies for children of pre-K through 12th grade.
Items such as: pens, pencils, binders, folders, composition notebooks, calculators, pencil cases, art supplies, highlighters, glue sticks, tissues, hand sanitizer
Alongside the school supply drive, the evening will feature performances from poets, singers, musicians, and emcees, along with opportunities for community members to share their own work during the open mic portion.
