Roanoke Parks and Recreation is currently developing master plans for Washington Park & McCadden Park. Community input is an important part of this process. The public meeting in July was very well attended, and we look forward to collecting lots of feedback in the online surveys!
Feedback collected during the planning process will help shape the future of these two parks.
- Capital funding for Washington Park is available beginning in fiscal year 2026 to allocate toward high priority improvements identified during this planning process.
- Funding is not yet available for McCadden Park, though projects identified in the planning process will be useful as funding becomes available.
