Youth Softball

Roanoke’s Youth Softball League is organized by the region’s local recreation clubs. Your child’s recreation club is determined by where you live in the City of Roanoke. Roanoke’s Youth Softball season takes place each year with practices starting in March and games beginning in April.

Players must be between ages 5 and 18 as of December 31 of the current season. Participants who are 18 years old must be enrolled in high school. Age divisions include: 8U, 10U, 12U, and 16U. 

 

YOUTH Baseball

Roanoke’s Youth Baseball League is organized by the region’s local recreation clubs. Your child’s recreation club is determined by the school he or she attends in the City of Roanoke. Roanoke’s Youth Baseball season takes place each year starting in March. Youth baseball registrations usually open in mid-February and are taken until a deadline set by each individual recreation club. However, players may be added to a team roster up until the first game of the season (while roster spots are available).

Players must be between ages 5 and 18 as of May 1 of the current season.
Exceptions: Five-year-olds must turn five on, or before, April 1st.
*Participants who are 18 years old must be enrolled in high school. *

Age divisions include:
Tee Ball (5 & 6 years old), Coach Pitch (7 & 8 years old), PeeWee (9 & 10 years old), Little (11 & 12 years old), Junior (13, 14 & 15 years old), Senior (16, 17, & 18 years old). 

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
