Fun on the water
All of Roanoke Parks and Recreation’s paddling programs include a boat or board, paddle, personal flotation device (PFD)/life jacket, and helmet (if required). Paddling program participants must be able to swim. If you have your own gear, you are welcome to bring it, but the gear will be inspected by Roanoke Parks and Recreation staff and may not be able to be used in the program. Roanoke’s paddling adventures range from white water kayaking clinics to stand-up paddleboarding, canoeing and more.
