DAY TRIP: Trader Joes Shopping Winston Salem + Olde Salem Lunch

Join us as we travel to Winston Salem to Trader Joes for the upcoming Spring & Holiday provisioning. Prior to shopping, we will lunch at Muddy Creek Café, housed in an old historic mill building near Muddy Creek in historic Old Salem. After lunch, we will visit the historic Old Salem Visitor Center observing the area’s deep Monrovian History exhibits. From there, we will head to Trader Joes for about an hour or more of shopping their unique grocery selections.   Don’t forget to bring your own shopping bags, cooler bags, and coolers!

PRICE: $34 per person 

PRICE INCLUDES: Round-trip parks and recreation transit van transportation and tour host.
Lunch will be at your own expense.

DEPARTURE DETAILS:  The van departs at 9:30 a.m. from the City of Roanoke Public Works Building (1802 Courtland Rd NE). Estimated return time is 4:30 p.m.

Cancellation Policy: This trip requires a minimum number of paid participants by the registration deadline. If the trip is canceled due to low enrollment, all participants will receive a full refund. If you cancel your reservation before the registration deadline, you will also receive a full refund. Cancellations made after the registration deadline will result in a 50% cancellation fee.
