DAY TRIP: Southern Living Idea House Tour – Charlottesville, Virginia
This year’s Southern Living Magazine’s Idea House is designed to celebrate the natural beauty of Virginia.
The home is over 4,500 sq. ft, featuring 4 bedrooms, and 4-1/2 baths, with serene views of the tranquil lake. Inspired by the concept of a “modern homestead,” the landscape plan promotes ecological stewardship and a self-sustaining lifestyle. We will be stopping for lunch en route at the TipTop Diner, known for its home-style Greek dishes among other standard fare.
PRICE PER PERSON: $69. The full amount is due when the reservation is made. Each participant will purchase their own Home Tour admission ticket ($43.73) and lunch is at your own expense.

DEPARTURE TIME AND LOCATIONS: The van will depart at 9:00 AM from the City of Roanoke Public Works Building (1802 Courtland Rd, NE). Return time to Roanoke is around 5:00 PM. Full itinerary is at the ticket link.

Cancellation Policy: The trip is based on a minimum number of paid participants by the registration date. Should we cancel the trip, a full refund will be given. If you cancel before the registration date, a full refund will be issued; after that date, there will be 50% service fee collected.
