DAY TRIP: King Family Wine Tasting + Picnic Lunch Trip

Join us Saturday, April 25, 2026, as we drive the T+T van to Crozet, Virginia. We will travel along the Monticello Wine Trail and to the award-winning King Family Vineyards. We will be treated to a guided tasting of the King Family award-winning wines, and receive a complimentary King Family Vineyards Riedel wine glass as a keepsake. The Vineyard does not serve food, so this is a picnic lunch affair! We will stop in route at the Greenwood Gourmet Grocery to purchase made-to-order sandwiches, prepared salads & side dishes to enjoy at the Vineyards picnic pavilion. OR- you are welcome to bring your own picnic lunch! 
Participants must be 21 years or older. Limited seating 

PRICE PER PERSON: $79.00. The full amount is due when the reservation is made. Lunch is at your own expense.

PRICE INCLUDES: Guided Wine Tasting, Kings Family souvenir wine glass, roundtrip parks and recreation transit van transportation, and a tour host. Lunch is at your own expense.

DEPARTURE TIME AND LOCATIONS: The van will depart at 10:30AM City of Roanoke Public Works Bldg. 1802 Courtland Rd, NE. Return time to Roanoke is around 5:30PM

Cancellation Policy: This trip requires a minimum number of paid participants by the registration deadline. If the trip is canceled due to low enrollment, all participants will receive a full refund. If you cancel your reservation before the registration deadline, you will also receive a full refund. Cancellations made after the registration deadline will result in a 50% cancellation fee.
