DAY TRIP: Holiday Tours at Homestead & The Greenbrier
Tour the “Holiday Splendor” at two of the most iconic & historic resorts in our area: The Omni Homestead Resort and The Greenbrier.
We will travel to Hot Springs, VA, to the Omni Homestead Resort. We will have an opportunity to take a self-guided tour through the historic resort, relax in the elegant lobbies, shop in one of the 20 unique specialty shops, and view the magnificent Christmas decorations. We will lunch between hotel visits at the quaint Garden Room Cafe & Gallery, and also have a picture stop at Falling Springs Falls. Then proceed on to the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, WV, whereby we will take a self-guided tour that showcases the Holiday decorations. Marvel at the Hotel’s flamboyant interior design, which spans a range of eras.
PRICE PER PERSON: $69. The full amount is due when the reservation is made.
PRICE INCLUDES: Round-trip parks and recreation transit van transportation, and a tour host. Lunch is at your own expense.
DEPARTURE TIME AND LOCATIONS: The van will depart at 10:00 AM from the City of Roanoke Public Works Building (1802 Courtland Rd, NE). Return time to Roanoke is around 6:30 PM. Full itinerary is at the ticket link.

Cancellation Policy: The trip is based on a minimum number of paid participants by the registration date. Should we cancel the trip, a full refund will be given. If you cancel before the registration date, a full refund will be issued; after that date, there will be 50% service fee collected.
