Ever wanted to get into backpacking but don’t know where to start? Join us on a 2 day, 1 night journey through Pedlar Ranger District of the George Washington National Forest, within the Mount Pleasant National Scenic Area. We will be learning the basic fundamentals about backpacking and everything you need to know so that you can enjoy the great outdoors. During this 6 mile guided trip, participants will experience forest scenery and beautiful mountain vistas. You can choose to bring your own gear or borrow from us. Food, transportation, and leadership provided. If you have always wanted to backpack or would like to dust off your old backpack, this trip is for you!
