Weather Cancellation Policy

In the event of inclement weather:

The Athletics section will decide by 4:00 p.m. on weekdays, and 7:30 a.m. on weekends, whether the inclement weather will cause a cancellation of league games.

Coaches and parents may call the Game Cancellation Hotline at (540) 853-1196 [Option #1] and information will be given as to the status of the games that day/night. The hotline will be updated by 4:00 p.m. on weekdays or 7:30 a.m. on weekends.

If there is no update on the hotline by this deadline, playability of the games will be determined by the officials at the field or facility. If the officials cancel a game at the field/facility, all subsequent games will also be postponed. The decision of the officiating crew will be final.
