With roots in the jam and blues scene in St. Louis\, KW has been churning up grooves for more than a quarter century. A blend of Rock\, Blues\, Jazz\, Country\, Bluegrass\, Funk\, and World Beat\, the Willy has been doing the “Jam-Band” thing since there was barely a term. A set of KW is an eclectic and improvisatory boogieing blend of organic spontaneity that takes the audience on a journey \nthrough a ménage of sound and color\, space and time. Every show is unique. Lewis brings expressive vocals and uplifting songwriting shaped by years of performing alongside artists like The Wailers\, Steel Pulse\, and Stick Figure\, while Hoskins contributes genre-spanning production and musicianship informed by collaborations with The Movement\, Amos Lee\, and Donna the Buffalo.
