POSTPONED: Wasena Skatepark & Pump Track Ribbon Cutting

Please join us as we cut the ribbon on the new skatepark and pump track in Wasena Park!

This new facility includes a 15,000 square foot concrete skatepark with features such as a half pipe, bowl, handrails, gaps, and more. Additionally, an asphalt pump track adjoins the skatepark.

Complimentary refreshments will be available from Wasena neighborhood businesses, Bloom and RND, on a first come, first serve basis.

Carpooling to the event is encouraged. You can also walk/skate/bike from nearby locations along the Roanoke River Greenway. Parking is available at the large parking lot near the ballfields. Please allow those with ADA needs to park in the smaller lot near the playground. ADA access to the ribbon cutting is available via the Roanoke River Greenway – follow this route to the skatepark connector path.
