🚐 The Ruins of Barboursville
Join us on Saturday, June 24, 2023, as we travel to Orange County, VA, to see The Barboursville Ruins.
This historic landmark was designed by Thomas Jefferson for Governor James Barbour. It was built in 1814 and destroyed by fire on Christmas Day in 1884. We will also make a stop at the Montpelier Station Depot, a historic landmark, as well as other places of interest in Orange County.
PRICE PER PERSON: $50 per person. The full amount is due when reservation is made.
PRICE INCLUDES: Roundtrip Parks and Recreation transportation, a visit to attractions listed, and a tour host.
DEPARTURE TIMES AND LOCATIONS: We will depart at 8:00 a.m. from the overflow parking area at Valley View Mall, Roanoke, VA. (this is between Belk and I-581). We will pick up at Bonsack Walmart at 8:15 a.m. We will then pick up in Bedford and Lynchburg if we should need to.
CANCELATION POLICY: The trip is based on a minimum number of paid participants by June 10, 2023. If we should cancel, a full refund will be given. If you should cancel before June 10, a refund less $20 service fee will be awarded. After June 10, there will be no refunds.
