(21+) Join us for a hike at Carvins Cove followed by a visit to Olde Salem Brewing Company. During winter Carvins Cove can offer some of the best views of the Roanoke valley. During this 6-mile hike we will explore the upper trails at Carvins Cove. We’ll hike up Buck, along Brushy Mountain and then down Hi-Dee-Ho. After the hike we’ll warm up at the brewery. Program fee includes transportation and leadership.

Parent or guardian must be present on this trip for participants under age 18. We will meet at the Public Works located at 1802 Courtland Rd NE, Roanoke, VA 24012.
Bring plenty of water (2 liters), snacks, lunch, proper clothing and footwear (good shoes or hiking boots), a backpack to carry all of your items and trekking poles if you use them. Just a reminder that dogs are not allowed on any City of Roanoke hike.
