Fishburn:\nJunius Blair Fishburn (1865-1955) was a prominent publisher\, banker\, entrepreneur\, and philanthropist. Working at the National Exchange Bank\, he rose through the ranks to serve as the bank’s President. J.B. Fishburn was the co-founder and president of Times-World Corporation\, which published The Roanoke Times and the Roanoke World News.  \nAn avid supporter of parks and recreation\, he donated the land for six Roanoke Parks including Mill Mountain and Wasena Park.
