DESCRIPTION:This special session of Nature Lab highlights the importance of Virginia’s public lands. This 5-week program introduces conservation concepts\, explains how public lands are managed\, and celebrates the unique natural spaces found throughout our state. \n🔹Ages 8-12\n🔹Courses held on Wednesdays from 9-11 AM\n🔹Meeting weekly from October 21 to November 18\n🔹Based at the Mill Mountain Discovery Center\n🔹$65/student for full 5-week series \nStudents will explore topics such as stewardship\, recreation\, conservation\, and the role public lands play in our communities both past and present. Each week features hands-on learning and conversations about how these lands are cared for and used.
