DESCRIPTION:Join us on August 29\, 2026 as we take the T+T van to the small community of Grottoes\, VA. \nWe will tour Grand Caverns Live Cave Park\, formerly known as Weyer’s Cave\, located in the central Shenandoah Valley where we will enjoy a 70-minute guided tour. A limestone cavern\, Grand Caverns claims the distinction of being America’s oldest show cave\, in operation since 1806. In 1973\, the National Park Service designated the cave a National Natural Landmark in recognition of its shield formations and other features\, such as flowstone\, stalactites\, and stalagmites. \nLunch – Prior to caving\, we will have lunch at The River Burger Bar (also serving salads\, sandwiches) in Waynesboro\, VA. \nPRICE PER PERSON: $69.00. The full amount is due when the reservation is made.
