Intermediate Downriver SUP, August 1, 2015
(18+, 10+ with adult) Have you tried Stand Up Paddleboarding before? Are you looking to take your skills to the next level? Join us for a day of adventure as we paddle down the James. Our American Canoe Association (ACA) certified instructor will help you develop your skills to confidently read and navigate the river. All equipment, leadership and transportation are provided. Beginner Whitewater Kayaking, August 8, 2015
(18+, 14+ with an adult) Spend a day on the river learning fundamental whitewater kayaking skills and river safety. Our American Canoe Association (ACA) instructors will discuss paddling strokes, reading a river, equipment selection, and basic river rescue. This exciting beginner clinic prepares you to paddle on your own and will familiarize you with nearby river access points, outfitters, and more. All equipment, leadership, and transportation are provided. Participants must be able to swim.

Intermediate Whitewater Kayaking, August 9, 2015
(18+, 14+ with an adult) You’ve been to the roll clinic, you have the basics of river navigation, but you want to take your kayaking to the next level. This trip is for you! Our American Canoe Association (ACA) instructors will teach you scouting rapids, catching eddies, ferrying, surfing, advanced paddle strokes, and more. Participants must be able to swim, wet exit a kayak, and have the ability to control and navigate a whitewater kayak on flat water. The program fee includes all equipment, transportation, and leadership.

Carvins Cove Canoe, Sept 2nd
(18+,10+ with adult) Grab a friend or family member and hop in a canoe! We will be heading out on the water to catch the sunset over the mountains. Equipment and instruction provided. Transportation from town optional.
