After Work Bouldering, dates below
(18+, 10+ with an adult) The boulders along the Appalachian Trail towards McAfee Knob afford the best bouldering in the Commonwealth. Grab your bouldering pad and some shoes and find out where the secret stashes of incredible climbing are in your own backyard! Fee includes use of group bouldering pads, climbing shoes, and instruction. Participants should have some basic climbing experience.

Bouldering Day Trip, June 6th
The mountains are calling! Will you answer? Break out of the gym this June and join us for a day of bouldering fun! Bouldering is a great way to get started with climbing without committing to purchasing all the gear. Come try for yourself: we provide shoes, chalk bags, crash pads and spotters. Learn about boulder fields in the area and basic skills to get you climbing outside on your own.

Rock Climbing at Goshen, June 14, 2015
Roanoke Rocks Climbing Camp, July 20-24, 2015
(Ages 14-17) Explore the sport of rock climbing as we travel around the Roanoke Valley and the region to get a taste of what rock there is to get our hands and feet on! The week will start out with basics, such as knots, anchors, and learning how to belay. Participants will travel to a new location to climb each day. The highlight of the trip is an overnight journey to the New River Gorge in West Virginia where we will camp out and enjoy some of the best rock climbing in the country! The program fee includes all equipment, instruction, and transportation as well as camping fees, equipment, and meals while on the West Virginia overnight. Participants are required to bring their own sleeping bag. This camp meets at the Norwich Center daily.
