Women Only Bike Maintenance, January 28th, 2016
(18+,15+ with adult) We are kicking the boys out and learning how to fix our bikes! Join us to learn how to maintain your bike and fix things when something goes awry out on the road or trail. Underdog Bikes
is sponsoring the wine and Viva la Cupcakes will provide some tasty goodies. Bring your bike to practice on. Fee includes instruction and refreshments.

Bike Maintenance: Braking, February 17th, 2016
(18+, 14+ with an adult) This class will focus on brake adjustments, pad replacement, cable replacement, and road side tweaks to keep you braking clean. We will discuss disc, road, and linear pull breaks. We will not bleed brakes. Cost of parts are not included.biking

Bikes, Brats and Beer,
(18+,10+ with adult) What could be better that the three B’s! This is a bike maintenance class with spunk! Come have a brat and a beer, provided by Underdog Bikes while working on your bike. With the experts at UnderDog Bikes you’ll learn how to do basic repairs and routine checks of your big investment. This bike maintenance class is geared towards the beginner. You will learn skills like what to look for in a routine safety inspection, fixing a flat tire, basic lubrication, and minor adjustments, as well as how to identify problems requiring professional attention. Bring your own bike to practice on!

Silver Comet Bike Tour, April 27th-30th
Join us for a family and beginner friendly bike tour on fully paved, flat terrain with no traffic! Cruise through beautiful forests and rural landscapes. The Silver Comet connects Atlanta to the Alabama state line. We will pedal a total of 61.5 miles over 2 days and enjoy some of the highlights along the path.

Great Allegheny Passage Bike Tour, May 12-15th
Cycle 141 miles on one of America’s premier rail trails, The Allegheny Passage. Enjoy smooth riding on excellent crushed limestone trails along the beautiful Youghiogheny and Castleman Rivers of Western Pennsylvania. Enjoy memorable highlights like Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater, Ohiopyle State Park, wind farms, quaint towns, the 3600′ Mt. Savage tunnel, restored train depots, the Trasher Carraige Museum and historic Cumberland, MD.

The Great Allegany passage is a non-motorized rail-trail system connecting Cumberland, MD to the Forks of the Ohio at Pittsburgh, PA.

The Passage winds along scenic rivers, through impressive tunnels and over massive steel viaducts, taking full advantage of railroad engineering expertise that always made the easiest grade. All on a right of way that is safe, quiet, and free of motor traffic.

Always changing, always exciting, the character of the Passage is as varied as the wide range of setting it passes through. Bring a desire to enjoy the outdoors and the spectacular scenery. (Fee is based on double occupancy lodging). No refunds will be issued within 2 weeks of the start of the program.

Le Tour de Roanoke- May 10th, 2016
Enjoy an evening of cycling and dining at Roanoke’s greatest local eateries. You will be accompanied by fellow cyclists/foodies to take a sectional tour of the city, stopping at each featured restaurant and sampling the best they have to offer. In total you will ride approximately 5 miles in roughly 2.5 hours and have sampled appetizers, entrees and desserts at a different restaurant. Fee includes your guide for the evening and the food selections. Don’t forget to BYOB (bring your own bike) or you may rent a bike from UnderDog Bikes located at 1113 Piedmont Street SE, 24014.
