C&C Canal Bike Tour-September 12-15th
Operating for nearly 100 years, The Chesapeake and Ohio Canal (C&O) canal was a lifeline for communities along the Potomac River as coal, lumber and agricultural products floated down the waterway to market. Today it endures as a pathway for discovering historical, natural and recreational treasures. Join us and as we cycle over 180 miles from Georgetown, DC to Cumberland, MD on one of America?s premier rail trails. Enjoy memorable highlights such as Great Falls, Harpers Ferry, Fort Frederick, the Paw Paw Tunnel, and other regional delights. Leadership, transportation, lodging and some meals are provided. (Fee is based on double occupancy lodging).

Virginia Creeper Trail Bike tour-October 11th
The Virginia Creeper Trail is regarded as southwest Virginia’s most scenic rail trail, as it weaves through views of old railroad relics, delightful towns, rolling farmland and flowing rivers. The trail on land once designated under the right of way for the railroad, now endures today as a pathway for discovering historical, natural and recreational treasures. Join us as we explore the rich history, the quaint towns, and the lush scenery amongst the trail. The program fee includes leadership and transportation. This activity is recommended for intermediate riders.
