Guard Start: Pre-Lifeguarding Camp
(Ages 13–15) Lifeguarding is a job in high demand. In this program, participants will be introduced to lifeguarding skills, play team- and leadership-building games and learn how to apply for a future lifeguarding job. After completing Guard Start, participants can join our Junior Lifeguard sessions to earn community service hours or simply to gain experience for a resume. Early drop-off for Guard Start is optional at 7:30 a.m., with late pick-up until 5:30 p.m.
Both sessions, which are held at Washington Park Pool, are from 8:00 to 5:00pm with a fee of $78

Junior Lifeguard Program - NEW!
(Ages 13–15) After attending our Guard Start Camp, participants can choose to become Junior Lifeguards and enjoy the pools while observing and working with our lifeguard staff. Participation as a Junior Lifeguard provides experience for a future job applications or can be used to gain community service hours in public aquatic safety, which look great on college applications. Up to 40 hours are available!
These 4 sessions, which are held at Washington Park, are all FREE and run from noon to 5pm.

Scuba Bubble Maker
(Ages 8+) Have you ever wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? While not an actual scuba certification, during the Bubble Maker experience you’ll learn how to use scuba equipment in shallow water and get a quick and easy introduction to what it takes to explore the underwater world. Scuba equipment provided.
Both sessions offered are $42 and will be held at Fallon Park Pool.
Jellyfish Swim Camp
(Ages 6–8) This camp is for young swimmers who have already had a swim lesson or two. Certified swimming instructors will focus on basic topics such as water safety, stroke skills, and simple training techniques. Great water games will also be played, of course! Participants must be able to swim.

Medley Swim Camp
(Ages 9–12) This program is designed for participants who already understand the basics of swimming and are looking to improve their skills in the four basic strokes used during competition. Certified swimming instructors will focus on improving swimming technique and performance, and skills will be tested with games and races. Participants must be able to swim.

Master Seal Team Camp
(Ages 8+) This awesome new program is for young divers who are looking for action-packed fun in a pool by doing exciting scuba Aqua Missions. Have you ever wondered what it’s like to dive with flashlights, take digital pictures underwater or float effortlessly like an astronaut? These Aqua Missions introduce you to wreck, navigation, buoyancy, underwater photography, environmental awareness and more! Scuba equipment and book are provided.
